The Worlds cheapest light fixture

I love these so much I'm trying to think of all the places I can use them...

It's hard to believe this is the same light! That glass shade is just so dated and ugly. The good news is that the shade isn't attached to the base at all, it actually just sits there. Take the shade off, add a decorative bulb and you have one shiny modern fixture. You can also turn the whole thing over and have the bulb facing down, which I might do in the other bathroom, or you can add a different glass shade if you don't like the exposed bulb look. There are so many variations you could do with this. It was so easy to install and you can't beat the $6 price tag.
That's right, is said $6. This is the cheapest light ficture I have ever found and it's beautiful.

You can find the fixture here at Lowe's, this is not an affiliated link, I just really love this fixture!
It even comes in gold too. (I think the gold look so much worse with the shade but they are really pretty in person and the gold is an extra dollar!) I have been hesitant to dip my toe into any major gold accents around my house because I know the fad isn't going to be around forever and who wants to replace all of their fixtures every few years. I'm sure you know most light fixtures are not cheap! But I'm trying to figure out a way to incorporate these gold ones in my office! I'm sure I can think of something. I was able to install two of these in my bathroom for under $30. The light bulbs which are also from lowes where actually more exspenive than the fixture!
