Why does it always seem to take so long to complete the final steps of a project? We assembled the entire laundry room in a weekend but getting around to trim, paint touch-ups, and picking out cabinet hardware has taken nearly a month. I have so much stuff I want to get around to this summer but none of that can start until I’m finished with the laundry room. I’m not sure if it’s a motivation issue or just that finishing just takes so long. While I’m guess the issue is a little of both I’m determined to get this project done!
This is all I have left, in no particular order:
One more coat of paint on trim
Touch-up one cabinet door
Hang all cabinet doors
Caulk edges of backsplash and countertop
Find décor for countertop. Why is this so hard?
Find and Install door pulls
Cutout bin for cat box
Sand and prime new drywall (to be painted later)
Style open shelves and countertop
Spray paint lid of detergent jar
Add shelving to upper cabinets
My plan is to have all of this 100% finished by the time I have to go back to work on July 5th!
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!
Do anyone else have this same issue? Nope, Just me? Ok….
